Dec 06, 2006 · Have seen front end loaders get that way, that have two way acting cylinders on them, and not leak out the ram packing. That is why I thought that may be the problem. I bet the steering on one of those tractors is a lot harder on piston seals than a loader would be. Hopefully someone more into tractor hydraulics than I am will give an opinion.

Aug 09, 2013 · It does sound like air in the system. Would it be possible to damage the pump if run with air for a brief while. Most of the systems I have fiddle with bled out by working the steering one way then the other a few times. I remember our old MK11 orbitrol did not pressure up when the engine was not running so there was not any manual steering.
